Phil DeSimone is a co-founder of Carbon3D, which builds 3D printers for manufacturers. DeSimone and the founding team started Carbon in a garage in 2013 and have since raised $140 million. In March, Carbon and Fast Radius became launch partners for a revolutionary high volume 3D printing manufacturing system called SpeedCell. The new technology will initially be deployed in the Fast Radius’ manufacturing facility located on the UPS Supply Chain Solutions campus in Louisville, KY.
